Ever wonder why your dog spins around before finally settling down for a nap? This quirky habit is an inherited instinct from their wild 🐺 ancestors. Dogs used to circle their resting spot to flatten grass, scare away insects or snakes, and mark the area with their scent for safety.

Even though your cozy home is free of snakes 🐍 and bugs, your dog's instincts are still hard at work. So next time you see your furry pal spinning circles, you'll know they're just following ancient doggy traditions!

Stop by the 🐾 Humane Society of Broward County on May 10, 2025, from 10:30am-2pm for a beautiful plant sale featuring house plants, herbs, flowering plants, succulents, orchids, and more! 🌱

Plus, Jeremiah's Italian Ice 🍧 will be serving delicious frozen treats and donating 20% of their sales back to the shelter animals. Additional food and refreshments will be available - come support a great cause and enjoy a refreshing day!

The city's dog park will be closed Thursday, May 8, 2025, while 🚧 improvements are underway.

Woodville Dog Park has separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, so pups of all sizes can play safely. Agility equipment like tunnels and ramps keeps active dogs entertained 🛝, while shaded seating lets pet parents relax 🛖.

Water stations 🚿 help everyone stay cool, and waste bins make cleanup easy. It’s a friendly spot for dogs to make pals and for owners to connect 🥰.
