Got an itchy pup? Some dog parents swear by thyme - the 🌿 herb, not the clock! This natural ingredient has antifungal and antibacterial properties that may help soothe minor skin irritation, especially from yeast or hot spots.

A cooled thyme tea rinse can be gently applied to paws or itchy areas. Just skip the essential oils - ⚠️ they’re too strong for dogs. Always check with your vet if the itch sticks around.

Golden Hour Of Fun

Get ready for tail wags and golden grins! The Happy 😊 Golden Meetup is back at Barkland dog park for another fun-filled gathering of friendly pups and their humans. All proceeds go to Golden Rescue South Florida, so your good time supports a great cause.

Let’s Raise The Woof!

BarkYard n’ Brews is hosting the 🎉 Bark n’ Bass Pawty, a unique event filled with music, dogs, and good vibes. Bring your two-legged and four-legged crew to dance the day away with fellow 🐕 dog lovers.

Humans get in free, though donations are welcome. Dogs are $15, with part of the proceeds supporting ❤️ We Care More Animal Rescue. The event also features a dog food and toy donation drive, plus adoptable dogs on site. Sign up your dog to join the pawty.

Barkland Dog Park
Sit, Stay, Relax

Barkland offers two acres of tail-wagging fun with separate play areas for large and small dogs, a convenient dog wash station, and 💦 water fountains for both pups and their humans. It’s a well-maintained space where dogs can run free and enjoy the outdoors.

The park also features shaded pavilions, walking trails, and picnic spots for a relaxing afternoon. Just next door, there’s a playground 🛝 for the kids, making it a great outing for the whole family. While the park is unsupervised, a little vigilance goes a long way in making sure everyone has a safe and fun visit.
