Florida Cold Confusion Look

Pup Health
Ears Deserve Gentle Care

Cleaning your dog’s ears too often - or not enough - can both lead to problems. Over-cleaning may irritate the ear canal and strip away natural defenses, while neglect can allow wax and bacteria to build up, causing infections.

Most dogs only need their ears cleaned once every few weeks, but this depends on breed, activity, and ear shape. Look for signs like redness, odor, or head shaking. When in doubt, check with your vet before reaching for the ear cleaner.

Interesting Fact 🤔

Your Dog Anticipates Goodbye

Dogs notice patterns in your behavior before you leave. Shoes, keys, tone, and pacing all send signals. Your dog connects these cues with past outcomes. That is why some dogs wait calmly while others react fast.

Your dog also tracks how long you usually stay gone. Short trips feel different than long ones. Over time, your dog learns when you plan to return. That knowledge shapes their mood and behavior the moment you head for the door.
