Cleaning your dog’s ears too often - or not enough - can both lead to problems. Over-cleaning may irritate the ear canal and strip away natural defenses, while neglect can allow wax and bacteria to build up, causing infections.

Most dogs only need their ears cleaned once every few weeks, but this depends on breed, activity, and ear shape. Look for signs like redness, odor, or head shaking. When in doubt, check with your vet before reaching for the ear cleaner.

Get ready for a day packed with long dogs, short legs, and big personalities. Wiener 🌭 Fest brings dachshunds together for nonstop fun, laughs, and tail wagging energy.

Expect contests, vendors, raffles, and endless 📸 photo moments. The event supports Dachshund Rescue South Florida and helps fund rescue care and forever homes. Bring your wiener dog. Bring your friends. Bring your camera.

Hey dog lovers. Get ready for the Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood Canine Roundup. Enjoy a full day of AKC performance events including Rally, Obedience, Fetch, Fast CAT, UpDog Frisbee, and Agility ACT 1 and 2.

Browse pet-friendly vendors 🛍️ and shop while your dog takes part in the action. This event brings together dogs, skills, and hands-on fun.

Steps For Paws
Annual Walk For The Animals

Walk for the Animals is a community walk 🐕 that brings dog parents, families, and animal lovers together to support animals in need. This event raises vital funds for veterinary care, shelter programs, adoptions, and ongoing services provided by the Humane Society of Broward County.

Enjoy vendors, food, music, and family-friendly fun throughout the morning. Dogs are welcome. Check the website for full event details.

Beyond Broward ☀️
Just A Sniff Away!

Taking place at Regatta Park, the Big Woof Festival brings dog parents, local businesses, and community groups together to support dog rescue 🛟 efforts.

This two-day event features champion Frisbee dog 🛝 performances, pup contests, K-9 exhibitions, dog training demos, wellness talks, vendor booths, plus food and drinks. Proceeds benefit PAWS4you.

Dogs are optional. Everyone is welcome. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
