Keep The Bag, Keep It Fresh
If you store kibble in a plastic food container, don't pour the food in loose. Put the whole bag inside the container instead. The bag has a special lining that keeps out air and grease, so the kibble stays fresher and the container doesn't pick up a stale smell.
Keeping the bag also means you still have the lot number if the food is ever recalled.

South Florida Cavaliers is gathering Cavalier families for a casual morning at 🦩 Flamingo Road Nursery's Fall Festival. Expect hayrides, pumpkin painting, face painting, and plenty of fall photo spots, plus a chance for your pup to make new friends.
Hop on the hayride with the group so the Cavaliers can ride together - last year's was a hit. Some activities are free and others cost extra.

Count Barkula is back! The Humane Society of Broward County's annual 🎃 Halloween Festival brings carnival games, trick-or-treating through the shelter, a scavenger hunt, a photo booth and a prize drawing, plus yummy treats for the humans.
The fan favorite is puppy playtime. Grab an All Access Bracelet to cover the games, photo, food vouchers and more, and pre-register to skip the lines. Adults get in free, and a certain 9-month-old pup named Lucas is hoping to find his family.

A Day Of Fun On The Water
Grab a kayak or paddleboard and paddle with your pup toward Colohatchee Park & Dog Park with Sunrise Paddleboards, LLC. The route runs about 1.2 miles each way, roughly 20-30 minutes each direction, and it's beginner-friendly. No dog? You're still welcome to join in.
Go at your own pace or take a guided tour lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, a nice fit for first-time paddlers. Rental doggy life vests are available in limited supply, and you can bring your own properly fitted vest too. Get your tickets now!
