Emergencies can happen without warning. Pack a grab-and-go bag with three days of food and water, medications, vaccination records, collapsible bowls, waste bags, a spare leash and a recent photo of your dog.

Check the bag every few months to replace expired items. When every minute counts, you can grab your dog, grab the bag and go.

Stop by this Saturday as Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming in Plantation hosts and sponsors Moet's Second Chance Soiree. Meet the adorable bulldogs from Coco & Tubbs French and English Bulldog 🛟 Rescue while enjoying family-friendly activities, free food, and raffle prizes.

The first 20 guests will receive a free Benny 🍔 Smashburger. El Exquisito Sabor will also provide free food. Snap Joy Photography will offer free digital photos, and Nicole Yvette Corral with United Realty Group in Lighthouse Point will provide free treat jars.

Pool Time For Pups

Make a splash 💦 with the City of Miramar at Soggy Doggy Pool Day, featuring separate swim sessions for small and large dogs. Pups must stay leashed until they reach the pool, then they can go off leash in the water and go ⚡️ berserk!

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required, and advance registration is recommended.

Go Healthy Pet is teaming up with Abandoned Pet Rescue for its 3rd annual fundraiser and adoption day. Meet adoptable dogs and cats looking for loving homes, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and enter raffles 🎟️ for a chance to win great prizes.

Ten percent of all event sales will benefit APR, and every donation made during the event will be doubled, giving you twice the impact when helping 🛟 local rescue pets.

Just A Sniff Away!

Dog contests, adoption opportunities and cooling 💦 play areas bring neighbors and their leashed pets together for a fun morning celebrating Wynwood's canine community. Activities include lighthearted competitions, adoptable 🐶 dogs, the Woof Star Studio photo experience, local pet vendors, splash pools, misting fans, hydration stations, giveaways and complimentary samples while supplies last.

Attendees can also view concept designs for the future Wynwood Dog Park, learn more about the project and share feedback. Water and shade will be available throughout the event.
