Signs Your Pup’s Uncomfy

Noticed your pup doing the dreaded butt scoot? It might be more than just a quirky move - their anal glands could need some ❤️ TLC!

Here are some signs that might indicate your dog has anal gland issues:

Scooting - If your dog drags their rear across the floor, they might be trying to relieve discomfort.

Licking - Frequent attention to the anal area can signal irritation.

Foul Odor - Anal glands can produce a very noticeable 👃 smell, even when your dog isn’t near you.

Swelling - If the area around the anus looks swollen or red, it could indicate a blockage or infection.

Difficulty Sitting - Discomfort can make it hard for your dog to sit 🪑 or seem restless when sitting.

Pain & Discomfort - If your dog reacts when you touch the area near the base of their tail, it might indicate tenderness 😢 due to anal gland issues.

Exciting news for pet lovers in Fort Lauderdale! 🐾 For the first time in years, leashed dogs are now officially allowed in Fort Lauderdale's beautiful parks. With 110 parks across the ☀️ city now open to 🐕‍🦺 dogs, this change marks a big step forward in building Fort Lauderdale’s reputation as a dog-friendly destination. 🎉

The recent rule change, approved by the ⚖️ City Commission (they’re awesome), means you and your furry friends can enjoy more outdoor adventures together.
