Drama Queen?
When Attention Becomes Habit
Some dogs quickly learn 🤔 that limping gets them extra attention. After the real injury heals, they may keep favoring the injured area to get more affection, treats, or sympathy. This is called learned limping.
A quick vet check can rule out lingering pain. If nothing’s wrong, ignore the limp and reward normal walking. It usually stops once the behavior no longer earns a reaction.

Join the first annual Halloween 🎃 Kick-Off Bash, a fun community celebration to start Halloween weekend.
Dress your pups in costume 👻 for the dog parade and compete for prizes. Enjoy face painting, a family photographer offering complimentary photos, and plenty of Halloween-themed games and activities for all ages.
