The residents of Pompano Beach ☀️ have expressed interest in designating a portion of the beach as a dog-friendly zone. The City is exploring the possibility of creating this space in a low traffic area, though a specific location has not yet been determined.

This proposed "Dog Beach" would offer guests and their furry companions a safe, welcoming environment with clearly posted rules and guidelines.

The City is committed to ensuring this initiative reflects the values and expectations of the community. Your input will help guide the development of this concept.

A Shoreline Made For Dogs

The Hollywood Dog Beach in Florida 😎 is a great spot for dog parents to let their pups run and splash. It’s a 100-yard stretch between Pershing and Custer Streets where dogs can play off-leash during set hours.

The beach is open 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset. Passes are required 🎟️ and can be bought on-site or at the local parks office.

Make sure your dog is licensed, vaccinated, and leashed outside the beach area. For a fun, sun-filled outing with your pup, Hollywood Dog Beach is hard to beat.
