5 Bizarre Doggie Facts
Did You Know?

1) Dogs are known to poop 💩 in alignment with the Earth's magnetic field, though this isn't consistent in all dogs. No wonder it takes them so long to find the perfect spot!

2) Petting a dog 🐩 can lower both your blood pressure and the dog’s, creating a calming effect for both of you. It's a win-win for stress relief!

3) Puppies are born deaf with their 👂 ear canals closed, and they start to hear around two weeks of age when their ear canals open.

4) Dogs often kick back with their hind legs after pooping to mark their territory. This behavior spreads their scent 👃 from the glands in their paws, signaling to other dogs that they were there.

5) The smallest dog 🐾 in the world was a Chihuahua named Milly, born in 2011, who measured just 3.8 inches tall from the floor to her shoulders and weighed only 1 pound.

Why White Bread Is A No-Go For Your Pup

Many people don’t know this as it is a common household food, but 🍞 white bread is not safe for dogs to eat. It seems weird considering we feed bread to ducks and other animals, but a dog should be left ❌ out of this category.

White bread contains oil and sugars that prove to be ☠️ toxic to a dog’s health. It has been shown to cause pancreatitis and some dogs may be more prone to this issue than others.
