Do you think it is harmless to let your small dog jump off the couch?

When a 7 pound dog jumps from a 30 inch surface, the impact on the joints equals a 150 pound human jumping from a second story window.

Those landings add up fast. Many small dogs jump down 20 to 30 times per day. Over time, this leads to kneecap 🦴 dislocations, torn ligaments, and early arthritis that often appears around ages 5 to 7.

The fix is simple. Add pet stairs or a ramp. Train your dog to use them instead of jumping. One small change protects the joints long term.

Celebrating 12 Years

Picnic With the Pups 🧺 celebrates 12 years of rescue by Everglades Angels Dog Rescue with an outdoor, family-friendly afternoon surrounded by dogs and the people who support the mission. A $20 donation includes food and beverages.

The event highlights good food, time together, and a celebration of the 🛟 rescue community and the dogs who made it all possible.

Just A Sniff Away!

Bark Beach in Boca Raton is now open seven days a week. Bring your pup from 7am to 9am in the morning or from 3pm to sunset in the afternoon, with adjusted times during daylight ☀️ saving.

Three-day passes are available for $15 and must be used on consecutive days, or you can opt for an annual pass.

The off-leash dog 🐕 area is located between lifeguard 🛟 towers 18 and 20 at Spanish River Park beach.

Argos is an 11-month-old Belgian Shepherd Malinois and Carolina Dog mix with a short coat and a sharp mind. He is seeking a new home due to housing 🏠 restrictions and is now safe and settling in.

He is fully vetted, with neutering ✂️ scheduled soon. Argos is good with dogs and good with children. He is learning routines, decompressing, and adjusting to rescue life.

Argos is bright, curious, and eager to learn. He has great young dog energy ⚡️ and will do best with an adopter who enjoys training and daily engagement.
