Dog lick mats are all the rage these days — and for good reason! These mats keep pups entertained, reduce anxiety, and promote slower eating. Try these simple, healthy recipes:

1️⃣ Chicken & Pumpkin Delight: Mix 1/2 cup shredded boiled chicken, 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, and 1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt.

2️⃣ Berry Bliss: Blend 1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries) with 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt.

3️⃣ Sweet Potato & Peanut Butter: 1/2 cup mashed cooked sweet potato, 2 tablespoons peanut butter.

Packed with nutrients, these treats support digestion, hydration, and overall happiness. Spread, freeze, and let your dog enjoy! (Adjust the recipe for small dogs) 🐾

Pup-Up Clinic
Community-Driven Program

A street clinic 🏥 for pets of people experiencing homelessness or at risk is happening soon in collaboration with the Humane Society of Broward County. Services include free physical exams, vaccinations, parasite control, and spay-neuter vouchers. 💉

Dogs and cats are welcome - just remember to bring dogs on leashes 🐕‍🦺 and cats in carriers. Don’t miss this chance to support pets in need!

Apple Chips Treats
Your Dog Will Go Crazy For Them!

Treat your dog to homemade apple 🍎 chips - crunchy, naturally sweet, and packed with fiber and vitamins A and C. These healthy snacks support digestion and boost the immune system, making them a delightful and nutritious treat 🐶 your pup will love.

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: 200°F (95°C).

Prepare Apples: Wash, core, and thinly slice apples (about 1/8 inch thick).

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add Cinnamon (Optional): Lightly sprinkle Ceylon cinnamon over slices.

Bake: 2–3 hours, flipping halfway, until crisp.

Cool and Store: Let cool; store in an airtight container for up to a week.

Note: Always remove apple seeds and core before preparation, as apple seeds contain cyanide, which is toxic ☠️ to dogs.
