Spot The Telltale Signs

Wondering if your groomer really expressed your dog’s glands? A strong 🐟 fishy odor from just the butt area after grooming is a giveaway, though it should fade quickly. Your pup might lick 👅 or scoot once or twice right after, but should settle down soon. The area under the tail should look clean with no swelling or redness.

When in doubt, ask your groomer directly - they can confirm how it was done. If your dog still scoots or smells fishy days later, it’s time for a vet visit.

Family Fun Run/Walk

Get ready for the annual Howl-O-Ween 3K-9 Family Run hosted by the YMCA of South Florida! Bring your pup, lace up your sneakers, and support the YMCA Aquatics Education Program for Water Safety Education and Drowning Prevention.

Straight From My Cart…

👉 Shock Absorbing Leash - I added this to my cart because the bungee design looks like it could help with my Huskypoo’s pulling. The padded handle seems more comfortable than what I use now, and I love the second handle option since I have that on my current leash too.

👉 Inflatable Dog - I bought a big inflatable Dalmatian dog from Amazon. I’m still not sure why. I thought it would look cool at my vendor tent… but it wouldn’t fit in my truck. So now it’s just me and a giant Dalmatian hanging out in the garage. 😀
